Hi I have recently acquired this table. It needs a fair amount of love. The plan is to bring it back to life for me and my sons to play at home. I would love to get the timer and bar back working. Currently running very slow and bar missing. Slate looks in good order but needs new felt and rubbers. Could anyone offer any advise on restoration etc? Also If anyone knows the maker and approx year? Many thanks Stuart

Look like a 'narrow' Sams table probably from the fifties. I cannot see the screw-in height adjusters for the bottom of the legs, if you do not have them we have a member who has made and sold them on FleaBay before.
Look through the table maintenance section, it's jumbled and needs bringing up to date but it's a mine of information.

Can I ask where you got the table from as I am currently looking to purchase one for my games room. Any hints or tips where to look would be appreciated.

It's an old thread so I doubt you will get an answer, you also give no indication of what part of the country you are in, tables are big and fragile lumps to cart around and there is more than one sort of table.
I have emailed you regarding your application.
