No Roger, we struggled to field three teams last year, nd after discussion felt it better to guarantee two teams, some of the B team were unavailable, some promoted to the As, and the C shad lost players for one reason or the other, hopefully we will be in a position to field three next season.

A convincing win for the As with the Bs only managing 6680 total in their 3 break games and the As then taking their chances, and in their break games, Mike, Stuart and Roger opened up with enough, Nick, Ian and Kevin doing enough on their first visit against the break, Joe and Paul had a scrappy game and Paul took his chance well to at least save the whitewash. A good evening with the As, and table playing well so no excuses just lost to the better team, think it may be a long season for the Bs, but hey ho we will give it a go.

This was the Ryder Cup all over again. Europe (Redhill B) played nice and steady and took their chances when they came along while the USA (Horsham) couldn’t work out how to play the course (table) and kept making rookie mistakes.
Redhill B 7 Horsham 0
Martin Pellett 7190 Dick “Phil Mickelson” Cable 2210 – Didn’t know what he was doing there and played as such Tom Pearse 5640 Stuart “Dustin Johnson” Carruthers 3950 – Away banker failed to make an impact and spent most of the time in the heavy rough Jim Balchin 7770 Steve “Tiger Woods” Hopkins 2860 – Returned to form last week but shocking this week Joe Elesson 4960 Brian “Bryson DeChambeau” Marten 2840 – Takes his time thinking about every shot but still failed to deliver Nev Blackman 3680 Iain “Bubba Watson” Tarrant 3370 – Trying to move the balls at right angles with excessive body movement during each shot Mark Fraser 8910 Lee “Justin Thomas” Cable 5830 – Played well and unlucky to be on losing side Anita Blackman 9010 Ben “Jim Furyk” Procter 860 – Had a great plan at the start of the match but his captain’s picks were awful
Well played to Redhill B on their win.
Much like the USA we are looking forward to returning home and playing simple courses again (in this case the Roffey table)

Yes we gave them a chance in every game except the 6th but they couldn't take it, good night, great banter, what makes bar billiards such a great game.
