A week late but better late than never....!
Limeburners 3 Stout House F 2
Bill Hammond 750 Lee Tugwell 1470 Brian Goodchild 3810 Grant Hope 1220 Rick Dewdney 8290 Colin Bolton 220 Dick Dewdney 4650 Dave Simmons 2500 Chip Sawyer 2830 Scott Hope 4750
Games played in reverse order. Game 1: Sterling effort from Lee in an awkward game. Nothing going for Billy. Game 2: I thought this game was close until I saw the scoreboard near the end. Game 3: Early mistake from Colin let Dude in for a 6k. Spectating mainly for Colin from there. Game 4: Dude Sr. built up an early lead. Dave caught up but a late 2k from Dick sealed it. Game 5: Scotty went off like a rocket gaining an early 3k lead. Despite chances, Chip unable to come back.
Pleasant evening with mates rounded off with Billy’s traditional onions.
Man of the match: Dude Sr. for a superb shot off 2 cushions, neatly dropping the red in the 200 hole.
