Roffey Y 4-1 Southwater SC
Dick Cable 4360-1120 Matt Senior :'( Micky Fairs 8960-620 Jo Darkins Rick Langridge 3200-1860 Tom Darkins Jason Trott 1500-3170 Gordan Ling Peter Gibbs 11330-580 Chris Purkiss
Cant give you that much of a report this week as I was off chatting most of the night. Dick started slowly against myself, but got going towards the end of the frame to start the leaders off. Mick started even slower but got back to form quickly. Rick and Tom went close with Rick pulling away late on. Jason and Gordan took around 10 minutes to get to 1000, before Gordan salvaged a point. Gibbsy was on fire as usual and cemented a 4-1 drubbing.
Some intresting results from the back bar at Roffey though!
I know Gareth hit over 20k against Ricky (poor guy said he didnt even get his bat out) and Chris hit around 22k!!! :o On a brand new table as well.
Well Done guys.
Will be deputising for Southwater B in the Billingshurst league tonight so will post a report for them from H&H.

New high score & break record set
On the new Roffey Club top Roffey Club A met Roffey Club B as the away team the A's went wild & Gareth in the 2nd looked untouchable with 20010. Chris Reeves had other ideas in the 4th & played the table out for both records with an amazing 20850.
With only 6 weeks left will it be beaten we will see.

Respect to the Jockster. Letting your billiards do the talking. 8-) As one present, I can testify that Jock's mouth was also given an opportunity! ;) :D Jock complained afterwards that it had gone "too quiet" during a break of 6.5K, which had made him nervous! :o But joking aside, it was a great score made with considerable style :)

Yes the Handcross table was in fine shape. I wish I could complain that it was too quite but with Jock around there's no chance Ha Ha. ;D
