Keith Newman 280 Stuart Carruthers 5890 I pegged my opening break of 3k+. Took a while for either of us to get the balls back but I finally did and was on a 5k break when the bar dropped at 14 minutes, at which point Keith conceded
Dave Howlett 4210 Iain Tarrant 4120 Where to start in this one.... Well firstly Iain opened with a 2k break. Looked like another game at the Stout House where Twiggy wouldn't get the balls back but helped by a ball dropping when he didn't touch it after missing the ball he was going for he eventually did. That however was not the luckiest shot he played, that would be the red he tried to roll the hundred while pushing the white into the 20, and having hit it too full the white hit the top cushion and double kissed the red back into the 100! More lucky shots followed before he came off. Iain however got back on the break and was just behind when the bar dropped. He got 110 in front but missed the last ball 100 shot and Twiggy got the 200 for the win.
Glyn Owen 4490 Rob Jones 2900 With the barman who plays the table most days on next with the break there could only be one winner... and yet it wasn't Sammy. He proceeded to leave his first one-up short and Glyn responded with a 3k break. Sammy got the break back but came up short in his chase.
Gordon Carver 2780 Steve Hopkins 6650 Best leg of the night. Hoppo opened with just over 1k and Gordon responded with 2.5k. Hoppo then got going and a 5k break before touching sealed the win.
John Tidy 610 Malcolm Andre 1100 So onto the decider and both were in a friendly mode. Malcolm pegged and gave JT the break back and JT proceeded to miss both balls. That rather set the tone and both struggle for the remainder with Malcolm just keeping in front.
Nice sandwiches to finish the evening and thank you to Barry for hosting
