This match would usually be fun but sometimes a few select players think its ok to talk about someone and be rude behind there back but when confronted and they dont like it adds a sour note but we let the billiards do the talking
Martin 2870 terry 5400 Terry slow and steady to kill the game off
Geoff 6650 barry 6090 Fantastic comeback by geoff to take this game superb
Boball 4740 roger 4090 Roger slow and steady and then i couldnt get the balls back. Roger did and had the game won but the clock watchers never called him off so he pegged and i hit 4.5k in just over 3 minutes to give us the advantage
Mark 11820 d mahy 330 Mark off early but his oppenent was dreadful and mark then killed the game off game over
Chris 5940 c green 4700 Looked like had this game won for the away team but never leave chris enough time by leaving a 1 up short game over
And a well deserved 4-1 home win
Some players should give up playing especially when they wont shake hands maybe time to retire mr mahy as the actions is not what we want in billiards
Looking forward to the cup match already
Boball over and out
Merry christmas one and all

Swan Nomads 1.5 - 3.5 Albion C Tony 1850 - 6560 Jean** - a few chances each in this one, but Jean always staying in front **Nick 5150 - 10,130 Nigel** - Nick with a good opening 4.5k, Nigel with a good clearance and then an excellent 10,130 break for 2-0 **Ros 1970 - 1970 Michelle - Ros lost her opening break, then it was nip and tuck as both got balls back but couldn't seal the deal. Then it was fun and games as judge Tony Burgesso's (Mexico) scorecard differed from those watching on Pay Per View and we ended with Ros needing 100 for the draw and 200 for the win (after Michelle had missed the 100) Ros went for the 100, got it to secure a draw Neil 0 - 19,130 Matt** - No judges scorecards needed here....I went off with 10,300, Neil missed and I ran the rest of the time out to give us the match **Gary 12,560 - 180 The Tuppster - Gary off early, Tupps no luck getting the balls back, excellent break and leg from Gary to give him the win We couldn't match the feistiness of the match at the Albion, so despite a scoring query in leg 3 we all went home friends Thanks to the Nomads for a very good night, the visiting captain tells me he was pretty pleased with the win

Good evening at the Dickens, heating on just about, but landlord said the heating engineers are due back in to sort it, pity it was such a cold night outside. Banter as had by all, some strange games, table playing well although scores do not show it, and as usual the away team had a fun games of 31s at the end ( not anti social but we were the only ones left there ). Andy off early, the chances for both he and Rick, with Rick making the most of it and Andy playing with the pegs. Joe going well but pegged his opener giving Steve the break back, Steve 5k and then first to get them back to make sure. Dave opened with 2.5k, mal got them back off at 1.3k, ball back by baulk line which Mal had to clear but black pegged in doing so, Dave added some more, mal break back near the end. Pete opened with 3k. Paul got them back off at 1.5k, Pete built on his lead and made it safe, into the decider. Ted pegged his opener, I got 2k, and after a bit of time got it back and touched with enough, good win for us.

Henty won 4-1 at the Pocket Rocket Ben 6370 v 4300 Chocie - chances for both until Ben got a decisive 2k near the end Gemma 2210 v 4280 KT - well done to Gemma on her 2k score Alan 2830 v 9170 Fitz - Alan off on 2k, Fitz got enough on his first visit Matt 2750 v 9380 Curt - a couple of breaks each, Curt with the bigger ones Toni 1340 v 1750 Molly - not sure how Terry got away with this one. Said he was always in control. Not until he got the break back with a minute to go methinks Alexa had a busy night with Stu there, some strange songs......
