nice to see Ivan Stansbridge after many years good night with old friends A blast from the past, a former teammate when I played for the Six Bells in the 1970's ! Recognise him in this old press clipping ?

More worryingly that is me on the left of the picture, if I remember correctly Colin Peskett took the break shot for the photographer and missed the red ball. I was calling him something but unable to remember what.

Stout House F BFZ Limeburners 5
Colin Bolton 2070 Bill Hammond 2690 Lee Tugwell 780 John Miller 6410 Grant Hope 930 Dick Dewdney 4550 Scott Hope 1600 Rick Dewdney 8600 Stuart Hope 690 Brian Goodchild 5130
Game 1: Closest game of the night, won by Billy Onions with more points than Colin. Game 2: Junkie's just bought a big magnet which he left by the bar, thus preventing Lee with his studded trousers from getting to the table. Game 3: Nobody told Grant he was playing so he spent three quarters of the game outside having a smoke. Game 4: Could have been a close game but wasn't. Scott of the Carfax watched patiently, knowing that at any minute he would come second. Game 5: Pops looked incredibly smart, sporting his Tartan socks that the team had bought him for Christmas. He was going to do a demonstration of Highland sword dancing to celebrate his win. Thanks to Boycie, we'll have to wait for that.
Unfortunately, I wasn't there last night so any similarity to actual events is entirely coincidental.
