Well run day and it all went down to the last set of games, Brighton B coming out on top, of Redhill B and Worthing B who tied on points for 2nd, Redhill taking runners-up on count back.
Leave those running it to update on all the facts and figure.

Was a good day. Thanks to Matt for doing the admin and trying to keep people in order
The only downside to the day was that after we had finished setting up the tables and was all ready to go a black peg went missing from one of the tables. This will have to be replaced by the County (approx £40 for a set). An expense we could do without.

Whoever took the peg should hang their head in shame and make sure it arrives back ay Burgess Hill one way or the other before the two weekends are over, might have seemed a bit of a lark at the time, but know when to call it time and make good your wrong, even if it is anonymously.

There were enough people in the room and near the table someone must of seen what happened to it as was on the table ready to go before most of the players arrived. It is a shame for this to happen and takes away from all the hard work of the people involved in setting up & running 4 days of competitions. Lets hope it is returned to avoid the cost of replacement !!!

Congratulations to Brighton B on winning, Redhill B on runner up and Worthing B on being so close.
A well run day and thanks go to everyone involved who give up their time freely, only downside was Matt having to keep chasing up certain players to be at the tables or score for their teams which meant it running at least 30 minutes late over the course of the day.
Thanks to BHCC for hosting and the Ladies for doing the food.

Hi
Been a slight amendments to the scores as the second leg score in Sandra Hall v Kevin Stoner was recorded wrong on one of the scoresheets.
Doesn't change the final outcome but has been corrected on the website.
Thanks

Mike from the club showed me some live CCTV coverage yesterday. He zoomed right in on table 4 where the peg went missing. Didn’t know CCTV was so clear just like watching tele. He said hes going to check it for Saturday morning between 10.30 and 11 and send me the recording
Still hoping the person who took it contacts me and returns it with an apology. I would tell the Sussex committee the matters resolved and no names mentioned
