I've heard the draw was done last Monday, April 1st, which could explain why we haven't seen it 🤐

Still waiting for the pairs draw to be published, come on guys get your fingers out. Bob, I believe there have been a number of pairs withdrawing from the competition at the last minute and the organisers are trying to fill those places with confirmed entrants rather than just giving Byes. It is the same team of organisers as in previous years who give up their precious time to stage this event. All the previous Guernsey Opens have been well organised by this willing team of volunteers. Yes, things might look as though they are moving slowly, but I am confident the draw will be published as soon as it is complete. A lot of time is spent and work goes on behind the scenes. We are thankful that despite the fact that we are a relatively small league, that we can still attract the top players from England and Jersey to our Open.

Also may it be pointed out, closing date for entries is for this coming Sunday so draw does not need too be published as it would normally not be drawn yet..

Guernsey Open Champ for 2019, the new slim line Dave Ingram, played superbly for having the best part of the year in Tenerife. Hi res copy available Bad luck to ian Lelliott who, had it not been for a kick on a break shot in the second leg, might have been holding the trophy himself.
