MVC B 4 v MVC A 1 A result that gives us the title this year. A great effort from everyone. Geoff won the first against Colin - tapping at 10k, then adding more Karl beat Jeff in the second - Karl made 2500 on visit one and wrapped the game up on his 2nd visit (just missed 10k!!) Bud beat Gareth in the third - a close game with Gareth making a good comeback, before Bud made it safe late on Terry lost to Benny in the 4th - a scrappy game with loads of chances for both players. Benny won it after the bar Or was it a ploy? Leaving skipper TC to beat Neil in the last - TC hit 3500 on his first visit, but Neil was still close, until a 5500 break won the game, match and league Also, well done Geoff on the player of the year title. All this after a 4-1 thumping in match one at the Jolly Bricks!

OLD OAK 1 SPCA 4
Charlie 980 Laurie 3430 Paul 700 Junkie 4280 Clive 4130 Tracy 1880 Budgie 1200 Dave 2570 Charlie 610 John 6090 (4 player)
Charlie v Laurie first up .Charlies break left the balls up loz in but didn't capitalize .On a tricky top Laurie always kept his nose in froñt.
Junkie on second off with a few and Paul struggling they both had plenty of goes with John steadily getting the upper hand played well to take frame 2.
Tracy and Clive and yet another scrappy frame with the table not getting any easier. Tracy got balls back but then let Clive in and some steady stuff from him was enough to pull a leg back for the oak.
DC and Budge everyone still struggling to get to grips with the top but Dave doing enough to take the frame .
John and Charlie deja vous plenty of goes until I got break back late on and played it back to front he Preston top break of night 3k.
Thanks to the Old Oak for a fun night.
