A 4-1 win for the Albion- After the first game Jim found the Juke Box and some very familiar song start playing at a high volume. Bringing back memories of last friday at the Ship and Crown in Guernsey !!!!
Poor old Kev was struggling to hear the scorer with of the singing going on- Then Nigel decided to have a go at the high break with a little bit of dancing here and there whilst getting up to 17460 in 14.30 mins before getting stuck at the bottom of the table, shame as still had 5 mins on the clock when he came off. Jim next after a number of pints !!! made it 3-1 and Geoff taking the final game aginst Marcus.
It was a good night even through a noisy one but fun was had by all
**Dave 3220 - 2450 Rick - Dave was off on 2.5k, Rick got close to level, then it was a battle at the top until Dave had the break back. He got a 4k break but lost it after the bar went, but not enough balls for Rick
Mick 3610 - 2330 Tony** - A war of attrition this one, with plenty of opportunities for both but Mick managing to take advantage
Tupps 2240 - 10,100 Joe** - A 6k opener from Joe, by far the highest opener of the night, attacking the table proving the order of the night. He added some more later with Tupps not having much opportunity
**Kevin 5750 - 6640 Matt - Neither of us particularly fluent but I managed a 4k break in the last 4 minutes to make it 2-2
Colin 5700 - 3720 Mike** - Mike built an early lead but was not at his fluent best. Colin got level on his opening break, was first to get them back and made sure of the victory
Good night with the Wellie, we ran them close but unable to get over the line, well done to them on their win
