Hello Matt,
The Bevy has an issue for this match as half the team are away 15th May, would there be any possibility of changing the date with the Railway Club's agreement of course?

Pocket Rocket A 4-1 Duke of Wellington Matt 8670 - 3690 Mick Joe 7100 - 2250 Tupps Rick 2500 - 9890 Kevin Tony 7060 - 3830 Colin Jim 8260 - 4260 Dave Very good team performance from the Rocket to win the Cup and deny the Wellie the double. Thanks to the Wellie for a good night, and another well done on winning the League. There were a few chances in most of the legs. After a good start, Joe and Tony both played well going second to seal the win, with Jim completing the job (but trying to peg after the bar had gone)  Hope the spectators enjoyed the match and thanks to Lorraine for the food. A thoroughly deserved win for the Pocket A, a match played in the best attitude of BB, the geriatrics plus Kevin were obviously exhausted from their annihilation of all opposition in the league this year.Thanks to all the teams involved for a great sporting season played in the right spirit. We can t wait to defend our title next year against whoever turns up at the Wellie.Our captain has been both diplomatic and inspirational to the team, its probably fair to say we would not have achieved this without Kevin but this has also been a great team achievement. I could nt find and smiley face emojis so don t take all the comments to heart, just to say could someone advise me of finals night 2020 as i may want to early book a holiday. |
