Roffey H 1 Plough 4
Brett 1180 Geoff 2980 Stuart 6250 Mark 1090 Iain 2650 Dave 3140 Martin 1240 Keith 1890 Malcolm 2760 Brian 4040
Both the players and the table off form on the night, with breaks pegged and balls missed on a regular basis by everyone. Was a good evening and the Plough were the deserved winners.

Guess my services are no longer needed then Lewes League Match? That rings a bell......Steve mentioned the arrangements, said he was having difficulty and a Monday night was the only option although he might not be able to get you and Derek as Monday night was Lewes League night. I only agreed to step in as a "one-off" if he couldn't get a full side and I don't want to take anyone's rightful place. I'm going along to watch anyway, and am happy to play or not to play as the case may be.

Result of match previously postponed and played tonight (21/10/19):
Windmill CC 2 Roffey Club Y 3 (in order played): Johnny Haigh 3290, Jim Greensted 5460 Chris Kirkham 3050, Ben Procter 1940 Margo 1400, Rick Langridge 5090 Steve King 3340, Dick Cable 1040 tommo 1400, Gareth Lloyd 9940
Both teams seemed relatively happy with the result.
Although the two home reserves/ringers were well beaten, Johnny nearly pulled off a surprise win when Foxy contrived to lose his opener and then took time to finally get going towards the end. A good, sociable evening and not a single sarnie went begging.
