Thanks to everyone for taking part and those who messaged on here. Good fun with the groups and the triples teams.
with no national billiards around the corner will probably run another singles open next as I need the virtual Grand Prix points.
Any suggestions for a different event, we have had singles, doubles, triples....maybe quadruples???

Any suggestions for a different event, we have had singles, doubles, triples....maybe quadruples??? I always like playing scotch doubles/trebles at pool. Not sure if you could do it virtually though? How about a team event? Blind teams of 5, rules as per the AE Team comp?

Mixed doubles will be good
Nigel you may have to dress up some of the men as ladies to get enough pairs. Could be fun/interesting who you choose as virtual ladies 😂😂😂

Mixed Pairs.... we have about 20 ladies so not enough to partner all the men. Unless someone dresses up in drag. Notice your ears pricked up there little legs....
The county champs would have been run in a couple of weeks, We would have been awaiting selection here in Sussex :) . So I think we will have a virutal county champs, using all the players in the virtual setup to form teams of 7. So I will be selector this year FOR all teams. Got enough for around 16 teams which is a good number. About 8 will be from Sussex so we will can have Sussex A,B,C,D,E,F,G and Z.
Firstly we will have a virtual open as I say me (and Curt) need the virtual Grand Prix points.
Then that will bring us to a virtual county champs around mid September when we should have been (Sussex A) defending our title. Kent of course would have been trying to win div 2 a week later, but mentioning that would be a cheap shot.

Sorry Colin we let you down once again. You must have been really tired with two of us to carry during an extended competition with two group stages. Think it's singles next so you can take the weight of your shoulders for a little bit :)

Can't wait to find out which seven players you think are that bad in Sussex that they don't even make the H team and go straight to the Z's... although given my record in the virtual singles think it may be me Thanks for running all these Nigel, been very entertaining.

Still waiting for a four pin on narrow tables. But what ever I'll be there but really do think everyone should donate a little old pound to aebba for the pure excitement of being involved.
Nige you are doing a great job keeping the interest going
