Loci A 6-0 Railway:- A flattering scoreline on a Quirkey top, a good evening was had by all. Just like to say good luck to Dave Hampton who's going to be mixing it with Steve Hawkes & Keith Mouncher in Jersey all weekend.

How is it, all of a sudden, that your esteemed grassy top (grassy knoll perhaps) is now referred to as quirky, while the one at The Woodie is simply referred to as sh1te?? ??? If there's something fluffy about it, then surely it's bonfire time - or time to attempt some serious remedial action. :-/ ::) ;)
You's were clearly lucky too - as my pal Dave the Verger, quite rightly I must say, is taking steps to adjust to life without my good self and my dear lady - she opted for work while I travelled the short distance to said Woodie, with my old pals the Pinkies, thereby sparing someone a reet damn thrashin' 8-) ;)
There is photographic evidence which will be added to the piccie site ASAP, or ish. It was a splendid 3 - 3 evening, topped by the first ever live capture of a WSBBL fixture - I videoed the all important final doubles game on the dog & bone.
I would imagine that Mr H is well aware of just what he's letting himself in for - but the company of two such seasoned imbibers of beery comestibles for an entire weekend may be his undoing. I just hope that he doesn't try and keep up with them! ;D

Yes its true to say our table hasn't been the same since we lost the knucker hole on it. It will certainly catch a few people out (home team included). Do i get the impression that you played for our Pink friends last night? Is that allowed seen as you've already played for the Railway or am i mistaken?

Technically I could have played; but, well. You know! ;D
I was there purely in a journalistic capacity. That and in my unofficial role as beer-advisor-pursuivant to Mr Tim - and we triumphed in that respect. We always do 8-)
What was it called again Meister?? :-[

that was the bunny!
A fine, tasty, yet generally inoffensive blonde. Much like my wife in fact ;) 8-)
OK - that could get me bashed, but I think you know what I mean...
I appear to be at a loose end tomorrow night - my team have decided not to tell me where they are off to! :o :-[

So this is where you have all been hiding, well I've found you know!
On the subject of Week 6 results, does anybody have the detailed results for Woodmancote v Woolie Pink and Woolpack A v Maypole A?
Thanks awfully,
Fix Sec.
P.S. I've now got the Woody Woolie Pink result.
