Brewery Tap A 3 - 2 Three Horseshoes.
Top of the table clash meant one unbeaten record had to go, and victory went the way of the home team.
Chris Reeves 6,550 - 12,240 Kevin Tunstall* Richard Wooton* 13,640 - 2,070 Geoff jukes Nigel Senior 16,360 - 960 Ian Lelliott* Gareth Lloyd* 10,450 - 2,340 Ricky Dewdney Marcus Chipman 0 - 17,950 Mal Spier*
Game 1 - KT started with 12k in 12 minutes leaving Chris enough time to make 6k in reply. 0-1
Game 2 - Richard missed his second split and was off with 1,200, Geoff could not capitilise despite 2 visits, and Richard got the break back and a 9k break killed the game. 1-1
Game 3 - Ian beat Nigel in Worthing League last Thursday on Nigel's break, and Nigel reversed the result as when Ian pegged his opener, Nigel was given the break back and got 9k and touched, and he got another 7k to finissh on 16k. 2-1
Game 4 - Gareth missed the red on his opening split and then took about 6 shots at the back of the table to get the break back to the relief of his teammates. Gareth settled after that and touched up on 10k giving Ricky no chance 3-1.
Game 5 - Although a dead game, Mal held our attention with a superb runout, setting a Brighton high break target of 17,950. Mal also preserved his unbeaten record for the season winning his first 6 games. 3-2
From the grapvine (my dad) I have been told the Dyke B beat the Albion B 4-1.
The top 2 have tough games next week in their last league games before Christmas. The Tap are away giving all 5 breaks to the Albion A, the Three Horseshoes travel to the Dyke to play Tupp's team.

Brewery Tap A 3 - 2 Three Horseshoes. Looks like you were the hero there, Nigel, winning against the break. Congratulations to Mal, though, with that sort of score he makes the 'big time'.
