Just to let everyone know that the Brewery Tap A is not in the process of collapse and the team will not be finishing at the end of the season.
To the people that have offered two of my players a place their team's, thank you but it is not needed. I could say more but I will not.
We are very much still a team and are hoping to win the league and cup this year and next year.
I hope that clears it all up :) and if any one wants any more info about my team then please do not hesitate to contact me to make sure you get the correct information.
Kind Regards
Richard Captain of the Brewery tap A

"Rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated". ;D
The actual quote is:
"The report of my death was an exaggeration" - Mark Twain, New York Journal, June 2, 1897
So, who's FeedtheGoat playing for next year ? Only we could do with another one for our Wednesday side. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well said Richard......now perhaps we can go on to win the league. How does it stand in the Brighton League, are the Brewery Tap over the line yet ? The Worthing League looks mighty close and could go to the wire. Have looked at the Mid Sussex remaining fixtures and reckon that one point will decide it between three teams, and two of them have to play each other in the final week. Any news on Lewes ?

I don't have the exact figures at my disposal, I'm sure that Nigel will provide in due course, but the Brighton Premier Division is essentially a two-horse race between Brewery Tap & Three Horsehoes.
To make matters even more interesting, the two teams play each other this Wednesday 14th at the Three Horseshoes. This match is likely to determine the champions, I believe.

Update for you, the ThreeHorseshoes won their game in hand at the Romans last night against the A side, 5-0 to the 'Shoes. This puts us level on points but top on goal difference by 4legs. Looking forward to Weds night.

It is still very close in the Brighton League this year.
After 14 games both the Horseshoes and the Tap have won 12 matches and lost 2.
The Horseshoes have won 52 legs (lost 18) and the Tap have won 50 (lost 20), giving as KT says a +4 difference advantage to the Horseshoes.
A win on Wednesday for either side would hand them a big advantage with just 3 games remaining - but the Horseshoes have the slightly harder run-in
For the record those games are
Three Horshoes 21/3 Dyke A (h) 28/3 Stadium A (a) 4/4 Albion B (h)
Brewery Tap A 21/3 Albion A (h) 28/3 Albion B (a) 4/4 Romans A (h)
Interestingly when the partially equivalent sides met in Worthing at the Horseshoes the result was a 5-0 win to the Duke of Wellington, with wins for Tap Players, C.Reeves, N.Senior & R.Wooton. However in Brighton the Horseshoes have won every match at home (as so have the Tap) and dropped just 6 out of 30 legs.
Should be a close one.

Jean, here is an update for divisions 1 and 2. Hopefully overthe weekend I will get time to update the website.
In Division 1 the Albion A are 2 points in front of the Windmill C with 8 wins from 14, they will go 4 points in front with 3 games left if they can beat the Stadium A tomorrow and the Windmill C are not playing having played the Dyke earlier due to Cheltenham. The Stadium A still have a slim chance but must beat the Albion A to keep their hopes alive
Albion A P14 W8 Windmill C P15 W7 Stadium A P13 W5 Albion B P14 W4 Romans B P12 W3 Romans A P14 W2
In division 2 the Kendal (after 8 wins on the trot) and the Stadium are on equal points but the Stadium have a game in hand. The Montreal are still there fighting 2 points behind
Kendal P12 W8 Stadium D P11 W8 Montreal P12 W7 Brewery Tap B P11 W4 Duke of Wellie P12 W2
