Is this not lined up on anyone's P.C. please??
This is straight text, not a Tinypic jpeg.

A simpler approach, but not 100%
Space your columns in your spreadsheet so that they do not overlap / abut Copy to your post At the start of the table add (spaces added for demo, so you can see it, REMOVE ALL SPACES BETWEEN THE SQUARE BRACKETS)
[ p r e] [ s i z e = 2 ]
At the end of the table add
[ / s i z e ] [ / p r e]
There is a longer method, now simplified, that BBWarrior has mastered, see below.

The Definitive Method
October 2011, the simplified method
Some people use the TinyPic option for a jpeg, the picture will be removed by the hosting company after a while. Pictures are lumpy big files and slow to load. This way is a simple text file.
1) You need to set up the column widths on your Excel spreadsheet, easy enough by dragging the column headers. Once done, save it to keep for next time.
Too narrow and the columns are not spaced enough. Your data will tab off to the right on long names.
Too wide and the table will not fit in the forum width and each line will wrap to a second line - right mess!
Trial and error I'm afraid.
2) Save your spread sheet as a .prn file (formatted text, space delimited) - 'Save As' and select the file type and where you want to save it. Ignore possible warnings about multiple sheets and supported formats. Make sure you can recognise the filename as the next bit will be difficult if your Windoze Explorer is not set to display file extensions (not default)
3) Using 'Widows Explorer' go to where your file was saved (filename.prn), right click on the file, select 'Open with', select 'Notepad' if displayed, if not select 'Choose program' and then Notepad.
You will now see the tables as plain text columns. Select all the text with the mouse or 'Edit' and 'Select All'
Copy the text to your post on the forum
You now need to change the font to 'Courier New' a font where all the characters have the same width. It is a forum font and can be assigned from the font menu dropdown box after highlighting the results table.
Try it and criticise my explanation please. It may sound daunting, but it's quite easy after a couple of goes.

Having used Sav's "Definitive Method", I would confirm that it works well and is easy to use...... provided you remember to do ALL of the stages as he shows above - my favorite mistake is to forget to change the font to "courier new" at the end and then wonder why it doesn't line up properly! ;D
The only easy advice that I could give in addition to Sav's instructions would be that when you first change the file from excel to a .prn file (space delimited) would be to save it on your desktop - it makes it easy to find and you can always copy it or move it elsewhere once you have finished with it. ;D
