just seen the handcross result. They may have lost, but theyve shown that roffey are beatable.
Im glad we've started to start playing at last. thats 9 points from 3 league games for us!! Next match against the plough should be interesting and a very tough test as they will have the break.
I had a couple of matches with Tom at Soutwhater last night and he's back hitting 6-7k on our top which ive only seen 4 or people do.
We have a end of season target and believe we can do it now.

Yes they put Roffey under pressure winning the first 2 legs with a good win for the Old fella against Micky Fairs & Darrell against Dick Cable.
As they beat Roffey in the Team cup they could have been the first to beat them in the league.

Updated Table should ( i think) read as follows:
Div 1
Team Pld Won Lost Pts For Pts Agst Total Up/Down
Roffey 9 9 0 38 7 38 - Crawley 9 8 1 29 16 29 - L'burners 8 5 3 23 17 23 +2 Stout 8 5 3 23 17 23 -1 Plough 8 4 4 23 17 23 -1 Windmill B 8 4 4 18 22 18 -
Div 2
Dun Horse 9 7 2 32 13 32 - Holbrook 7 4 3 18 17 18 +1 Handcross 8 2 6 18 22 18 -1 S'water 8 2 6 14 26 14 - Fountain 6 1 5 8 22 8 - Windmill A 7 1 6 8 27 8 - Norfolk 8 0 8 7 33 7 -
This next week sees Dun Horse with a bye so Div 2 has a chance to make that gap smaller. Leaders Roffey take on Windmill B as the A's take on Limeburners. An all Div 2 clash sees Fountain travel to Handcross. S'water entertain the Plough whilst the Norfolk travel to Crawley in search of their first victory. Stout House host Holbrook which will be a great tie as only five points (aleit and a division) seperate the two sides.
Who can cement the 3rd place spot in Div 1???
