Windmill 1 Three Horseshoes A 4
Mick Pope 1,220 - 12,430 SirKT A flawless 10k opener from KT gave Mick no chance. ;)
BB Warrior 5,050 - 4,590 Mr Reaper Kev & I gave each other lots of chances with Kev giving me the break back just before the bar dropped..... ::)
Charlie Cooper 4,370 - 8,850 Chris Lawman Lolly's opening 8.5k was enough to win the game, Charlie had a couple of decent breaks in reply. ;)
Gina Sherratt 3,320 - 4,490 Stuart Mepham Gina & Stuart also gave each other plenty of chances, but Stuart was on the table when it mattered at the end of the game. ::)
Alan Messer 1,760 - 9,080 Jim Greenstead Neither player really settled to start with but Jim ended the night with a well built break of about 6k to make sure of the win.
A well deserved win for the 'Shoes who played the table better than we did. :'(
Nice curry with rice....... combined with the heat in the room it made us feel as if we were in India!! ;D

Game one saw Grant Tully opened with around 5.5k. Rick Cunningham got the break back and going well but broke down at 2.5k. Grant added another 1k and Rick a few more. Missed opportunity for the home side???. 3140-6920. 0-1.
Game Two saw Terry Molloy open with 7.5k leaving Martin Smith with not enough time, although he got break straight back buy broke down at 1.5k. Terry got break back and added another 4k. 11670-1560 1-1.
Game Three Ian Lelliott opened with fautless 9k, TJ pegged Ian back witth another 3k. TJ shot at 100 hole. 100-12820 1-2.
Game four saw Bill Kerr build a steady 6k only to miss ball behind left hand fifty hole. Geoff Jukes played excellent shot to get break back, but broke down at 2700. Bill got break back and with perfect timing got in front as the bar dropped. Ball went awkward behind left had fifty, again Bills luck was out and he again missed the ball. ( Feel sorry for the wall outside Schooner side door as frustration had to be vented somewhere). 0-2800. 1-3. Prehaps another missed opportunity!!!!
Game Five, Tony Lewis opened with good 6.5k. Steve Aylmore got balls back but broke down at just over 1k. Tony added anther 2k, Steve another 1.5k. 2250-8880.
Table in excellent condition and feel result should have been closer, but you have to take your opportunities as presented. well played the Stadium and thanks to Marina and Mark for an entertaining doubles agains RC and TJ.
Stew was excellent and at least some comfort gained for beleagiured skipper, who took black peg during doubles, ( has to be said going for ball in front of 100 hole of side cushion.) Schooner 1 Stadium 4.
