There was NO division 1 Player Of Year given As it was a Div one player that one it overall.

From the Blind One
The are three perpetual trophies relating to POY
1. Player of the Year 2. Premier Division Player of the Year 3. Division 1 Player of the Year
there are give aways for runners up in the players list for premier and divn'1
The POY is awarded to the best player, regardless of divisional status. Should the winner be a prem player, the Div'n 1 trophy will be giver to the best player in that div'n. Should the best player be a div'n 1 player, the Premier POY will be awarded to the best player in the premier.
Before this was put in hand, the best player in div'n 1 always got something, but a prem player could only ever win the POY.

Thanks for the explanation Roy. I for one didn't realise that there were 3 perpetual Trophies.

I decline to comment :-X >:( except to agree with Kevin, this was the same situation when I won. There was NO division 1 Player Of Year given As it was a Div one player that one it overall.
