Hi Everybody in BB Land I've been watching this board for a while and thought it was time I joined. Now, the name - YorkshireTerrier? For those of you who know your football you will know that the Terriers are in fact Huddersfield Town and for those who know me they may know that's where I come from having moved South from God's country in the 1960's to show you southerners how to play cricket and Bar Billiards :D :D My Bar Billiards claims to fame, meagre as they are, compared to the Brighton croud are - Winner of the West Sussex Singles and Masters on several occasions Runner up twice in the Sussex Champion of Champions One 20k break to my name and I was a member of the team which famously beat the Stadium 5-0

Ooh ooh! I know, i know. Ask me!!
Though that would be cheating. I was, after all, his team captain for several years and MY claim to fame for this season is that I beat him on his own table 8-)
BB aside, he's one of the nicest guys you could ever wish to meet; a stubborn almost fanatical quiz team member and holder of quite legendary barbequeus in his rather splendid garden.
All that despite hailing from the frozen north! ;D

Thats right Nigel
The names Shaw - Alan Shaw
Don't tell me, it was the cricket reference that gave it away
Only three weeks to the beginning of a new season when I swap my ash two peice for a willow one piece
Oh how I wish the red ball counted double in cricket
It does get confusing sometimes when the BB season and cricket season overlap. On a wednesday you have to avoid the pegs then on a saturday you have to aim to knock over any of the three pegs with the red ball

Welcome to the boards Alan. I can understand why you came down this way all those years ago. It was to support a proper team like The Seagulls :)
