Great day at a very good venue ( the Dolphin ) seeing KT winning the Masters at his first attempt, beating Roger Taylor in the final. Roger had done well to fight back from 10k+ down in two previous matches , but could not get the balls to run for him in the final when chasing around 14k.
Lower division won by old warrior Mark Senior beating young Chris Cox who will I am sure be contesting other finals in the future.
Masters Plate won by Dave France beating Jean Brackenbridge in the final.
Lower Div Plate won by Adam Squire beating Dave Roberts in the final. Apologies if I have got this one the wrong way round.
Well played all the winners and hope theOff The Spot goes as well tommorow. Good luck to all participants.

Congratulations to Kevin on what was surely a very polished performance. But it's great to know that some of the 'old timers' in Roger, Dave and Mark can still turn it on. ;) :) Jean, I don't put you in the old category, very well done in your runners up place ;) We also have two good young players in Chris Cox and Adam Squire coming through. They both have a good future in Bar Billiards ahead of them. Both of them step up a level tonight by playing for Worthing D in Inter League. Good Luck to both of them :) :)

Just re-read my last posting Jean. it appears I put you in the same category as those old timers in my prior sentence. :-[ Nothing could be further from the truth. You are still only 21 so I hear ;) ;) Hope no offense taken :)
