The date and neutral venue for C team final has been arranged.
It is Saturday 25th Nov at the Queens Arms in Gt Knolly St, Reading, starting at 8.00 pm if possible please. I will send maps to the participating teams if necessary, and anyone else who may like to attend.
If the highest break in the competition is beaten before that, please let me know immediately, if not sooner.

Mr Postman has just confirmed that the final will be between WALLINGFORD C and WYCOMBE C, the latter winning their vital last group match 8-2 against Northants D, a team which included at least three regular consumers of this forum.
I am not sure if that means MORE Tart points to Jel, Herr and Convoy, or LESS. You can work it out!

;D Not one to make excuses ::) but the Table at H Wycombe wos not the best :-/ and the home match two breaks went to our 2 Northampton players on our Burton Cons table :'( but we enjoyed the games anyway as I think we needed to win 10-0 we realised that was never going to happen :'( All in all we ain't had a bad season and it's been a pleasure to play against the teams we met along the way :D :D I hope both teams enjoy playing the final :D

and the home match two breaks went to our 2 Northampton players ??? ??? dont home players normally have the home breaks then ??? ??? Maybe you mean your pub players ?

We're only allowed 3 players from the pub or club where we're playing at home which was Jel, Roo and myself and then we have 2 players from other Northants teams and it was these 2 players that got drawn with the breaks. We don't get to choose who breaks :-/ The away team has 3 breaks.

It is ok I am aware of the rules, just your wording was Northampton players in a Northampton team LOL which is why I said your pub players which is what you explained. I agree it is pot luck and doesn't help sometime, BUT if they clicked your 3 players are probably better against the break than they would be so can also work to advantage when you need a 5-0.
