Wycombe B beat Reading B 3-2 last night. A bit of a nail biter, coming down to the last game.

Semi-Final 1st leg Wallingford A 4-1 Eynsham A
J O'Farrell 2,550 - 4,650 M Jones T Martin 10,150 - 600 M Trafford P Collins 10,120 - 4,020 P Farrelly L Beer 7,970 - 950 S Huntley M Turner 4,860 - 4,510 R Sturgess
Breaks - T Martin 9k, P Collins 9k, L Beer 6k
Disappointing result for us after winning the first game against the break.
In light of some comments that had been made about this table, we can't really complain too much because of the scores the home players got. But having said that, very difficult to get scores being the away player as you need a couple of goes before working out what the table does.
2nd leg at the Tandem on Sunday 9th September.

The final of the Inter Area Cup will be between Wallingford A & Wallingford B, after the B team won their Semi Final 2nd leg match against Wycombe B 5-0 ? at the Horse & Harrow.
This should be a very close final over two legs between these fine teams.
Good luck to both.

For the record, the first leg was : Wycombe B 2 Wallingford B 3
and the second leg : Wallingford B 4, Wycombe B 1
... but the overall result was still the same, a 7-3 aggregate.
Don't ask me how I came by this information. :-X ;)

Final 2nd Leg Wallingford A 4 Wallingford B 1
Congratulations to Wallingford A who won 7-3 over 2 legs.
I have no scores, but I do know that Maxi McDonnell (B) won the first game against the break against Phil Collins (A) to make it 3-3.
