Oxfordshire Area Semi Finals Nelson v Horse & Harrow To be played on Thursday 30th August @ The Lamb & Flag (Hailey)
This should be a cracking match between the 2005 and 2006 All England Champions. I should add, old Morris Motors team, but the same 5 players.
I will put the result of our win on Friday. ;D
Lamb & Flag v ?? To be played on ? @ The ?
Perhaps the County Secretary (Ray Sturgess) will come on here and fill the gaps in. :-/

I will look forward to that being my home table on a Monday night :) Look forward to now playing the Nelson in the final It was an excellent match although it has to be said that we were thoroughly beaten by a very good team. Well done to the Didcot CC and the very best of luck from us at the Lamb & Flag in your final against the Nelson. Should be a cracker - depending on where you are playing of course! The table was very nice to play last night and the customers are very friendly but the pub's a bit dire. Not a proper pint of bitter in the place (only smooth crap) and only one whisky...... >:( cheers Tony

Looks like Milhouse's week is continuing how it started. Your luck with the draws is unreal. Playing John without the break. Your score would have won 3 of the other matches....
When is the final being played ?

The Nelson 4 Didcot Con Club 1 :) :) :) :) :) *Roy Clough 1,520 Pauline Withey 8,800 Mark Trafford 7,000 *Ray Sturgess 8,980 *Phil Collins 2,710 Keith Sheard 9,730 Leon Beer 7,300 *Kevin Godfrey 0 Dave Tooke 0 Steven Sheard 7,020
Roy only opened with about 1,300, Pauline replied with a hard fought 5,500 break to end up winning easily.
Ray went in with 8,980 in 11min's to leave Mark 7min's to catch it, but was always off the pace, but still finished it off with 7,000.
I caught Phil on a rare off day, as he missed early and I got a 7,800 break, he still had a chance but failed to get going.
Kevin lost his opening break of 8,000, with Leon playing the rest of the table out with 7,300.
Dave also lost his opening break of 3,000 when he had a black peg, Steven had a break of 6,000 with Dave getting another black peg at the end.
Nigel, see you on the 21st when we will have to be at our best to beat your power packed team.
