We (Corner House) scraped through to a 3-3 draw at Red Lion Cassington last night. Not much idea of the current league tables but we "think" they are 2nd or 3rd to us, so it was an important result, after being 3-1 down. It could have been much worse!
Jon Bamsey(RL) had given Micky Jones an early chance but played really well in both legs after that.
Bob Allsworth(CH) could not get going until the end of his 2nd leg when he just scrambled home to make his games 1-1.
Andy Wilson(RL) was a bit unlucky to find his old teammate (me) in good form for a change and slipped up just the once at the start of his 1st leg. He did not get back for anything meaningfull in either leg.
Andy was presented with his "Merit Award" from Bournemouth where he reached the semifinal of the Plate after being paired up with Tony Jenner from Sussex by the organisers.
