Corner House has probably extended their lead at the top of the table with a lucky 5-1 win over Royal Oak, Burford.
I will admit that we have played an awful lot better this season and only drew.
Micky Jones started like a runaway train and, timewise, was on course for about 21k. At 12k, though, whilst trying to "come off", he missed a ball behind the 20 off the cush. He finished up "winning" on the last ball with 390, yes 390.
Terry Cook had plenty of chances with the break (and after that) to sink Fazza, but was in a kind mood.
Joel strambled through against late-arriving Bob Allsworth to get Burford on the board, but it was one-way traffic in the second half of the match.
But it just does not make sense that Royal Oak are still to record their first win of the season.

Royal Oak have won at least 2 matches this season! They beat us last week 4-2 and the Corner House B 6-0 a couple of weeks ago!
Well it looks likt the Division 2 teams done the COrner House A team a huge favour last night!
Tandem B 4-2 Red Lion Bletchingdon 4-2 Tandem A
With Andy Wilson not playing for the Red Lion, Lorraine stepped in to play. Her first ever match. Not a good draw for her getting me. I won 2-0 Keith Hollis drew 1-1 with Jon Bamsey with both games going against the break. With Jon showing his frustration at really not liking our table, i thought Keith could pinch both games, but a 5k break at the death of the 2nd pulls a point back for the Red Lion. Ian Gordon 1-1 with Colin Winstone. Two very close games with Ian winning by 500 in the first and then Colin taking the 2nd sinking the last ball in the 200. Ian was unlucky in losing a 1k break just as the bar dropped which would have put him out of reach. Great result for us, bring on the big boys in 2 weeks time..... :)

Sorry, Mark, I was purely going on the last league table I saw. Can never quite work out how up-to-date they are!
Oh, and thanks for the favour, but it doesn't look like we really needed it. Shame Jon does not like the Tandem! Dave has put him and me there AGAIN in the triangle rules comp.
