I don't normally post on the Kent board - but I was in Eastry the other day and found a table in the Bull. Curious new build table complete with 3 mushrooms. Omly 50p a go as well.

Hi Alan,
You should have emailed me!! I only live three miles from Eastry!
I did not know the Bull had a table again. They used to be in the league, will take a look.
Chris.

I don't like the sound of "curious new build table", Sav !
Prepare to have your eyeballs offended when you walk in the Bull and come face to face with a Supreme ! :o

Yup, Chequers is home turf now, we played there Tuesday night in a rearranged fixture that was the title decider.
Let me know when you are around next.
Chris.

The Bull were asking about getting a table about a year ago, but only via third parties, never by a direct request to the League. Wonder if they'd consider putting a team together.

I'd forgotten that pub even existed, it's just an island left in the middle of an estate that was redeveloped for the Western Docks in Dover, even Google streetcam didn't make it over the viaduct that leads to it!
I'll take a look in a few days
Sadly we are about to lose the P & H Tilmanstone after a new landlord thinks he will get more from another food table than two teams and ancilliary trade

How nice....A supreme :-X Yeah, as Tim hints, equally important to know where the Supremes that exist are, so that we can avoid them ! ;D

Sadly we are about to lose the P & H Tilmanstone after a new landlord thinks he will get more from another food table than two teams and ancilliary trade Sav I see you've taken the Kings Head Canterbury off as well, Sav. This was one I was going to look in on on my day in Canterbury (19th Oct): Looks like I'll now be restricted to the Unicorn. :-/

As far as I am aware there is no table at the Kings Head.
I'll check it out.
Remind me nearer when you are visiting

Remind me nearer when you are visiting Sav I was surprised, particularly as their website advertises it, and seems a relatively up to date one. I am going to see Caravan at the Shirley Hall (The King's School) on that date (7.30pm performance). Fortunately the Unicorn is relatively close by. 8-)

I found another table, which is narrow with mushrooms, and the distance between the playing spots is not right. However it's in the new Harbour Board Social Club, in what was the Old Park Barracks at Honeywood Road.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the Bar Billiards table at the East Kent pub while staying in Whitstable last week :-) A nice pub with two dart boards and a pool table (free on a Thursday). It was interesting playing Bar Billiards with the pub dog running around and a parrot squawking next to the table! There's also a great old table football in the 'games room'. Sav's team's on the move.
Another box of landlords opened at the Chequers and, after we've stuck with the pub through thick and an awful lot of thin, the table's been slung out and they are yet another attempt to try and make a village ale pub foody, watch this space for the next failure!
We are now off to the Red Cow in Sandwich, table is out of the Chequer and goes in two weeks from tonight.

Move to Red Cow now completed, smashing hosts Nina and Baz, Doom Bar £2.60 a pint.
We opened our season with a 6 - 0 win against newly promoted Betteshanger Club, partly thanks to 7k plus tap-ups against the break from Sav and Tim B.
A definite move for the better!

The East Kent, Whitstable is now a strike through on the list above: charming pub but no evidence of bar billiards, just a rather worn looking pool table.

The Rose and Crown is not a pub I use but their claims regarding David Gill and the start of English bar Billiards are thought to be true.
I'll eat my hat if that table did not come from Ivor Champion at Stelling Minnis!!

Not where I normally wander Clive.
Heard rumours earlier this week of a recent narrow Sams in Tower Hamlets in Dover, got my spies hunting for it.

The table has been moved from the now defunct Magnet to the Alma in West Street, a blast from the past!
