Some very good games..... and high scores on the USC table tonight, including a new table record.... :o
United Services Club 2 Bridge 3
Bill Kerr 5,230 - 7,690* Marc Chipman Marc started the evening off with an excellent break of 7,690, Bill got the balls back straight away to hit a 5k reply, breaking down just before the car dropped. Great opener for the evening. 0-1
Dave Ingram 10,490* - 280 Alan Brackenridge I touched on just under 8k, shortly after nearly losing my break on a split shot.... Alan got the break back straight away but lost his score, giving me the chance to add a few more as Alan had no luck. 1-1
Colleen Park 1,590 - BP* Kevin Stoner The balls spent most of the game in some very awkward places, meaning it was always going to be a close game, Colleen pulled away a bit towards the end and Kevin toppled the Black Peg with the last ball..... even though he couldn't have won the game. 2-1
Gina Sherratt 550* - 18,440 Nigel Senior Gina unfortunately left her one up just short, Nigel quickly got the balls back and ran in a superb break of 18,430 :o, coming off just after the bar had dropped when he pushed the white ball behind the 50 hole on his one up shot. A new table record played in his usual attacking style all the way through. 2-2 8-)
Tony Jenner 230 - 8,190* Jean Brackenridge Jean opened with a nice 5k break, Tony pegged his reply and although Jean lost another 2k break, the balls wouldn't run for Tony at all, leaving Jean to run in another break to seal the win. 2-3
Another very good evening with the Bridge team, nice spread of sarnies and chips..... and Nigel has set Henry, myself and anybody else a really good target to beat...... before he comes back here again next year anyway!! ;D ::)
