As long as I don't have to wear the traditional Thrapston costume of orange blouse, white skirt and wellies ::) They would look much better on a Kormanator and you could wear your pink shoes instead of the wellies :-*

Have you found the Cup yet. ?
My wife Lin seems to think that I gave it back to P.F some years ago, so I should ask him.
But we may be wrong.
Keith.

I think the whole thing needs to be approved by the committee prior to getting to excited about it all. But cannot see any problems there.
Need to review the BB calendar and assess when a good time, and table availability is. Would be good to have it around our finals weekend though!!

Just over a fortnight left to enter ! Hope to see you Northants boys again soon, last year was a hoot. ;D ;D ;D I wouldn't mind going to the Bucks again :D Anyone else of the Northants fancy it :) Here's the form if any of you farmer's lads want to have another crack at entering the Bucks Open and staying above tommo in the national rankings. ;) www.aebba.org/Entry%20Forms/BucksOpen.htmThe last day to enter is tomorrow, so you'd better get a wriggle on. 8-)

Hi Guys
Best of luck in the resurrection of your open.
If you look at the year in a rough stage, you will see the following
Feb ( middle ) Oxford ( Didcot ) April ( end of ) Mermaid ( Portsmouth ) June (early ) Sussex ( Worthing ) July ( early / middle ) Kent ( Tonbridge ) August ( middle ) Bucks ( P/Risboro ) Sept ( middle ) Berks ( Reading ) October County Champs November 2nd w/end World Champ ( Jersey )
So if you can get it back into the fold, this is( and I say a VERY ROUGH ) guide to the rest of the B B Calender
Good Luck you guys

A good hint for MAY there from Mr May. ;)
And perhaps Surrey should build their plans round March if they are serious in staging their inaugural one.

No wonder Milko has got his rounds done so early - he hasn't slept.
Keith - please stop worrying about it. Everyone, even you, needs to sleep.
Yours,
Forum caring committee.

No we have exhausted all avenues and the 4 names that you gave us whom you may have given it to, don't know what to do next? :-/ Somebody MUST have it. I think you can safely rule out PF, as Milko seemed to recall having given it to someone 'last year or the year before'. PF ceased to be Northants Secretary in the year that the event was last run and wouldn't have had cause to request return of the trophy, and all that was around 8-10 years ago ?

Unless somebody has got it who doesn't use the forum so they will not know the request for it. Our only hope is that Keith remembers whom he gave it to. This cup was insured as it was worth a bit, maybe we should ask for the advice of the Northants constabulory.

I hope that this thread can now return to the detail of the Northants Open RIPColemanator, I think you need to apply some TLC to this thread, as the last four posts read as if they last thing they want is to ever take part in a revived Northants Open !! ::) I know what you're saying Tommo but after looking at the posts you can see that they mean Bucks not Northants. The offending posts have now been moved to "Bucks Open 2007" on the AEBBA County Opens board.

Hopefully we can have a chat about this at the AGM. Obviously not as a proposal but as more of a discussion point under AOB. :)

I've had another idea as to a venue, how about Wicksteed park Pavillion? :D
Plenty of parking, costs a pound???????????
Plenty of available food, :D
Bar 8-)
Nice venue. :D
If you get knocked out early you could spend the day on the rides, in the arcades, on the lake etc etc ;D
