Henty Men 5 - 3 LA Dolphins.
Game 1 - Captain Dec got the better of Lady H on what seemed to be a tricky table for tonight.
Game 2 - The Dolphin's Coach took to the green baize and made a fight of it against Millser only to lose out in the end.
Game 3 - This match could have been billed a charity match when Father John for The Men played the Dolphin's Captain. Both players giving away reasonal breaks but in the end the game went narrowly to the away player.
Game 4 - Dolphin's new boy Gareth met Stan and decided not to leave one up after successfully potting 3 breaqk shots, allowing Stan the Masters champion to scramble home for victory.
Dolphin's Coach rallied his troops during the food interval to lead them to win both the next 2 games.
Game 5 - Coach and his partner BB met Stan and Father John and with latter 3 players under performing by a mile left Coach to show how it should be done to clinch the win.
Game 6 - Lady H and Gareth faced Captain Dec and Millser , outplayed the home team duo on this occasion to gain a convincing victory. In fairness to Captain Dec he played well but did not have much support. And having watched his home team pairing in the previous game , it was there for all to see why he is The Men's best player.
Games score tied at 3 -3, with the team aggregate going to the Home team to give them a narrow victory.
A really good and enjoyable evening accompanied with the usual banter.

Week 6 concludes the BBSIL with congratulations to The Wheeltappers who retained their title. Looks like The Dolphins need a new coach and captain.
Finally many thanks for those players taking part during the Summer months in what was another enjoyable season with the usual banter , good sportmanship and allowing us to keep our eye in , in readiness for the forthcoming Winter league.
And on that note, may I wish all a successful Winter season and look forward to seeing you at some stage over the net few months.
Thanks BB
