So what happened yesterday ?
Well, Sav arrived by motorbike, Northants were delayed due to Silverstone, and tommo manfully kept up in the drinking stakes (suffering this morning as a result). ::)
Oh, and BERKSHIRE A were the surprise winners of Div One. Well done to them, and to the runners-up Oxon A. Once more the trapdoor opened up for Kent A. No doubt they will bounce right back like they usually do.
OXON B put in an awesome performance, winning Div 2 and beating Surrey A 5-2 along the way to put them out of contention. Surrey however bounced back in the last match, 6-1 against Sussex B to secure runners-up for the second year running. Bucks are the unlucky team to be relegated.
Good to see Johnny George at last getting a crack at this competition - for Northants: Last time out he was picked to play for Cambridge, but they withdrew at the last minute.
Well done to Dave Alder once again for the smooth running of the day, and to his fellow organisers at the P/O Club.

Good day, well done yet again to Dave Alder and his helpers for organising. Disappointing day for Sussex, but enjoyable none the less. Well done to Berks on excellent team performance, and good luck to Oxford B for next year on their promotion.

It was fantastic to actually meet up and talk to you too Tommo, unfortunate we hadn't really had the chance in earlier opens. Best of luck Tommo!
