There is now a reserve list for the open, so players that had byes now have opponents. Clive Thompson is schedueled to play at 11.30, and Ray Hussey is schedueled to play at 10 am. Any problems please let me know. Regards Merv

Katie wins back-to-back titles !
Congratulations to Kevin Tunstall, who lifted the Bucks Open title to add to last month's Kent Classic. He outscored Tony Walsh by playing his break leg out completely with 22k. Tony's brave reply of 18k in two visits in his break leg was not quite enough. Bucks stalwart Ray Hussey won the Plate, beating Phil Collins over a two-legged final. Ray beat Gareth Lloyd and Phil beat Richard Wooton in the Semis.
Results, main competition (last 16 onwards): Dave Alder bt Jon Bamsey; Jason Neal lost to Keith Sheard; Ray Sturgess lost to Barry Holt; Jason Wadsworth lost to Kevin Tunstall; Steve Buckle bt Vinny Mitchell; Merv Yearwood lost to Tony Walsh; Tony Martin bt Mark Trafford; Steven Sheard bt Leon Beer. (Qr Finals): D.Alder bt K.Sheard; B.Holt lost to K.Tunstall; S.Buckle lost to T.Walsh; T.Martin bt S.Sheard. (Semis): Alder lost to Tunstall; Walsh bt Martin. FINAL Tunstall bt Walsh.
(This is a snap press release for the forum from a roving reporter, hopefully a more official report will follow !)

Cheers for the report Tommo.
Well done Kev, what table did you get the 22k on? I saw no tables there where that score looked on.
See you all at the Berks next month.

Well done Kev, you looked unbeatable all day. And also, well done to Ray. Put in a perfect 11K to knock me out of the plate.
Nigel - Not sure of the final table, but Kev also posted a 21K break on table four in the earlier rounds.
Congrats to the organisers, was a great day out and I am sure you all saw that the Northants Nutters enjoyed themselves ;D

There may be a job going!!!!! ;D But, if so, you would have to be a bit more accurate: Kevin made 21,220, Tony made 19,390.

Well done Kev, what table did you get the 22k on? I saw no tables there where that score looked on. He made the best break of the day (21,570) on table 4 against Jason Wadsworth in the last 16. The final was, in fact, on table 3, the very one that you and I struggled to get to grips with, Nigel. Class is so very difficult to quantify! Modified to 3 from 7 as correctly corrected by Merv below. I was counting from the other direction. So solly!!!!
