I saw the entry list yesterday and was very disappointed to see how few entries there are from outside Sussex & Oxon! Where are all the Surrey boys? ??? It must be your closest Open venue. The Kent classic has never been one of the biggest Opens for entries, but they still need all the support we can give. Come on chaps, the draw is being done on Wednesday, contact Pete Sainsbury right away if you want to enter

Congratulations to Nigel Senior on winning the Kent Classic yesterday, Nigel beat the likeable Paul Sainsbury :-* (It's alright I'm not gay) :) in the final.
This is Nigel's 2nd tournament win this year, well done.!!
Well done to the organisers on another well run Kent Open.
Well done also to all those players who done well on Sunday, especially to my two team-mates Pauline Withey & Ray Sturgess. Pauline on reaching the Q/Final of an Open for the 2nd time this year and winning the Furthest Lady award, also getting the two highest Lady breaks of the day, although the trophy went to Loraine Hall as Pauline could not have both awards. :-/
Ray on coming back from nearly 15,000 to beat me :( and also reaching his 2nd Q/Final this year.
The last 8 were, Nigel Senior, Ray Sturgess, Mark Brewster, Dave France, Pauline Withey, Phil Collins (late replacement) Paul Sainsbury & Bill Kerr.
I'm now going back to my lucky black shirt as the plain shirt I wore yesterday brought me no luck. ::) ;D
