Yes, congratulations to Nigel who won a good final (17k to 16k) against Mark..... also to Kevin Hall who beat Gerry Fitzjohn in the Plate Final.
Another good day at Reading with some close battles, here is a quick summary of the latter stages...
Quarter-Finals Leon Beer beat Chris Newson Mick Jones lost to Mark Brewster Nigel Senior beat Tony Walsh Phil Collins beat Geoff Jukes, winning the high break award with 21k+, Geoff replying with 16k+.
Semi-Finals Leon lost to Mark Nigel beat Phil on what looked like a very tough table.
Final Mark opened with 5.9k, then added another 5k+, Nigel replied with 5k+. Nigel touched up on 11.9k, Mark played the table out for 5k to lose by just over 1k.
Plate Semi-Finals Curt Driver lost to Gerry Fitzjohn Kevin Hall beat Pete Sainsbury
Final Kev beat Gerry.... sorry, I don't know the scores in this game as I was scoring Nigel v Mark. ::) ;D
Many thanks to Dave Alder, all of his busy helpers and the Post Office Club for an enjoyable day. 8-)

kevs game was a lot closer kev broke off early and gerry strugled with break but so did kev finally ending the 1st game with 2440 lead not alot but decisive on this table. over hit it and whip under hit and both stay up definatly a pace table in which a lot of the tables where u had to hit just right si the 50 would grip. and the second leg gerry led all the way but not enough as kev kept a 1000 lead and the bar dropping with the red gone and gerry needing 700 to win just two much to manage
