Thank you Alan, I shall be delighted to attend as one of those on standby. And will try and make myself useful by scoring one or two games, should the need arise.

Alan - re: John Slee, I tipped him the about this last Sunday at the Horsham Masters, but has he been given a separate invite ? I believe he is in the process of moving house but is probably still reachable via his old telephone number (I can PM it to you if need be). Clive

Alan, you may have the wrong number for Graham, as I was ringing the wrong number when trying to get hold of him for the Worthing singles. Try Neil Higgins as it was from him I got the right number from (sorry I have not got it on me now).
However, as Graham would be in my group, I don't know if I want you to invite my bogey player. ;)

Many thanks to al who helped to make the event the success it was Many thanks indeed to Al for allowing me to take part in the first place after arriving 15 mins late for the start - due also to a Blonde moment. how I managed to get lost on the way there remains a mystery to me, but I assure everyone it's no fun driving round Durrington from all points of the compass for a half-hour. >:( Thanks to the organisers for a super event and well done to the Ice Cream Man. ;D
