Suddenly tommo's favourite singer, the Australian Sia Furler, is at number 4 and 5 in the UK charts with two collaborations:
Wild Ones (Flo Rida/Sia) - this is the remix, which is better !
Titanium (David Guetta/Sia)
At last, some recognition! Come on, Sia, forget America and tour the UK in 2012 !

Pick the cat's bones out of this one Tommo ! This one has extra cream for Milko and worthy of a gold top. Has played in Guernsey as has a cousin over here. One to watch for the future.

Lovely song, beautiful voice. Track was used in the weepie film "My Sister's Keeper" (Cameron Diaz as the over-protective mum).

One of tommo's favourite progressive rock bands from the 70's was King Crimson.....Many of these type of bands featured talented musicians in their own right. Here are two of the band members with totally different styles, the first being their lyricist Pete Sinfield:
and the second being a much more recent clip of Greg Lake performing a King Crimson classic:

It's been a long wait for Little Boots's second album - three years, in fact - but "Nocturnes" is being released on 5th May. Here's a sample: and another, this one with subtitles...... Roll on the Spring and some nice sunny days' listening out in the garden. 8-)

Roll on the Spring and some nice sunny days' listening out in the garden. 8-) Tommo's very excited....rushed out today and bought it, and it hasn't disappointed. Here's the closing track: ...........which I reckon is catchy enough and would be a worthy winner of Eurovision. Watching Kate Bush at the BBC at the moment on BBC4. Her first concerts for 30 years are starting this weekend.
She certainly was energetic all those years ago, and has been following a fitness regime to help her cope with the demands these will put on her.

Looking forward to going to see Dean Friedman live at the Hawth in Crawley next Friday, seen him several times before and always enjoy the mixture of great songs (and the very funny stories he tells about where the ideas for his songs originated) from one of the best American singer-songwriters who has been around for a long time.

Try Julia Fordham Clive - my all time favourite :) Lovely, pure voice, I have Where Does The Time Go ? in my collection. I only discovered Polly a couple of days ago when watching a programme showing 'the best clips from Jools Holland'. Was hoping to catch the performance by Sia before she gained world-wide acclaim. But it was mainly a load of dross, amongst which P.J.Harvey shone like a beacon. Probably didn't like her when she started out as a (new wave) protest singer, but she now has a much fuller sound, something I can tap my feet to.

I love her - been a fan forever, sad I know but have all her albums (all signed) and have been to see her a few times :). Not many people have heard of her, so good to hear that you have. I also like Sia, people don't realise how many hits she has written for others.
