As far as I can make out, the only complete records we have on this are on the AEBBA website:
- Full transcript of all competitions from 2007 onwards;
- Summary of all Semi-Finalists and Finalists since inception in 1981. (see Roll of Honour).
But if, say, I wanted to check players who reached the Last Eight (or Sixteen) of the BIOC/World Championship between 1981 and 2006, I would draw a blank: unfortunately I cannot find any records where I would expect to see them - on the Jersey website.
Is this a fair assessment? Or is there somewhere I am not looking ? This is the World Championship, remember.

Well, yes, that would be a source. A job there for some diligent soul: commit all 64 editions of BBQ to microfiche. :-/

Or just scan them to PDF format and have them saved on the AE Website ? Are you serious? 64 editions of BBQ, 72 pages per issue = over 4,000 pages to scan! ;D

There was a BBQ published with all the details of the last 8 from 1981 onwards, I will dig it out for you Tommo.
The full records of each tournament from 1991 are also in the BBQs too.
Tupps also did an 25th Jersey anniversery edition of his 3BQ with a tournament summary of each Jersey from the start.
When I get a chance I will send you the stuff you need.

There is a limit on volume of storage tht I can hold and PDF's are not that economical. Sav

Thanks Nigel, I feel that 'Jersey' comprises quite a good proportion of the appeal of the websites for the viewer. The feeling of 'I was there' etc.

There is the issue that I host the AEBBA website free of charge to AEBBA. There is a limit on volume of storage tht I can hold and PDF's are not that economical. Sav I can help out there, I have unlimited webspace so I could upload them to a page mimicking the AEBBA site and all your would have to do is link to it 8-) If someone can bring their BBQ's to Jersey I will scan them and then return them to their owner. OR someone else scans them and email them to me with the same result
