Congratulations to Curt Driver (Kent) on his victory in the AEBBA Men's Singles at Reading yesterday, beating Simon Coleman (Northants) in the Final. ;)
Curt had emerged from the "Group of Death" on aggregate from Steven Sheard (Oxon) who hit the highest break of 19,270, with Bernie McCluskey (Berks) and Gareth Lloyd (Sussex) also in contention until the last games in the Group..... Simon had played well to top his Group that included Laurie Roberts (Surrey), Darren Isard (Bucks) and Barry Radford (Hants).
Sussex A won the Ladies County Division 1 title..... with Surrey B being promoted..... see separate thread about this competition which was very exciting right to the end. 8-)
Many thanks to Dave Alder and his helpers for all of their hard work..... and to the Post Office Club for their hospitality on the day. ;D
