Railway 4 Dun Horse 1
Steve Merriott 4180 Scott Hope 4120 Scott, looking steady, off to a 3k start. Sniffer came back with a couple of reasonable breaks leaving it close when the bar dropped. Sniffer’s first go at the 100 took the frame.
Mark Davies 3440 Grant Hope 1260 Grant started well but broke down early. Mark got going later in the game to take the win.
Nigel Worsfold 6120 Colin Bolton 1460 Repeat of the previous game, Colin broke down early and Nige took advantage.
Mick Clack 5910 Dave Simmons 2740 Dave looked comfortable with a 2k start, Mick answered with 1k. Both players punted around at the top of the table for a while before a Specsavers moment from Dave let Mick in for a 4k+ break.
Chris Roberts 2210 Stuart Hope 4950 Stu flying from the start. Apprentice Chris played well in his first league game. One to watch for the future I think.
Good result for the Railway, bit disappointing for the Dun with chances squandered. Oh well... next week! Thanks to Stella for a yummy Chilli. ;D

Roffey Club 5 Springbok Club 0
Lee Cable 7100 Bill Hicks 1450
A bit of a slow start for both players, but eventually Lee got hold of the table putting together a couple of decent breaks to take the game.
Dick Cable 3680 Trevor Goacher 1600
Do not even ask where my first attempt of the break went ::) just say it cost me for knocking down Peggy. Dick started steady and I managed to match him and get nose in front. Then when opportunity arose I blew it, leaving Dick an easy run in.
Twig 6120 Gary Marshall 1050
Young Gaz flew out the blocks and then hit a brick wall. Twig was in form, head down and arse up, putting together a couple of decent breaks to take the third game.
Glen Owen 4910 Ken Nixon 370
Both players started slow and if I did not know different would have said Ken may of had one or two or three too many!!! Still entertaining and eventually Glen hit some form to take the game.
Peter Fisher 1460 Ron Parsons 700
Ron struggled with the break allowing Pete in and he played steady to rattle in a decent score. Ron plodded on and was gifted an opportunity when Pete skittled the black with only a few minutes to go. Ron could not hold the table and Pete put together a decent score as the bar and all the balls dropped to claim the game.
Thanks to the Roffey guys for a great night, laughs and food. As we contributed to the Peggy fund we expect an invite to the curry night ;D

Blue Ship Crown 3 Fountain 2
Barney B/P Terry Andrews 3330 A nice 1950 from Terry and Barney straight back with 2380, Terry kept on knocking them in and Barney was having little luck but with the scores tied Barney had to go for a ball up the middle alas the black fell and Fountain got their 1st point :)
John Thayre 4110 - Gary Packham 480 Gary had a FAIL at the break not the sort of thing to do when JT is the opponent
Dave Sands 5960 Barry Lawson 1890 Barry made only 500 from the break and Dave got on with the job Barry did come back with 1k break toward the end
Colin Barrow 3570 Foxy 10700 I made 9170 from the break before mis cueing but luckily for me not fouling ::) Colin then got in with 3k and the rest of the time up the table
Ricky Padfield W/O
Thanks for a good night and some lovely sarnies with hot sausage rolls :)
