Hi BB fans
Eastbourne wishes Hastings "good hunting" in their return to inter league comps. this year, with the talent on show so far, Hastings will surely re-attain the heights previously acquired by its last generation of players seen some 15 years ago. I'll have a pint on you to win Div3 this year. Any takers?

So far so good for Hastings in our first interleague for many seasons. We have won our first two matches against Billingshurst and Mid Sussex B.
1. Billingshurst 3:4 Hastings 2. Hastings 7:0 Mid Sussex B
So we've had a very close game with Billingshurst at the Limeburners which could have gone either way and a big win against Mid Sussex B, although to be fair they didn't get much luck last night on the Ashburnham top.
Looking forward to our next two matches against Brighton C and Lewes in about 6-7 weeks time.

As much as I'd love to Colin, I'm afraid I've been reassured that I've got my place against Brighton c in the next game ;D

I'm not a Hastings guy, so sorry for intruding a little bit. Just a quick message from the Mid-sussex b captain to say very well played on Sunday night, and thanks for being good hosts. Bob and Phil scored a freindly at the end of a long night, which was extremley generous of them. Not the shortest of drives from Mid sussex so very much appreciated to be made welcome.
Cheers

Another win for Hastings last night at the Ashburnham with the result being Hastings 4:3 Brighton C. A tight match against Brighton C in the end after we were 3:1 up at one stage, Brighton C clawed back to 3:3 leaving a decider. Dave White played an excellent 8,000 break in the final game to win us the match. Roy Harmer also had a very good 8,000 break in game 4, with those being the two highest breaks of the night on what was not the easiest top last night.
Hopefully Ozzie may post the scores on here at some point.

Lewes V Hastings
Jan Bithell 3140 : 1210 Tony Gates Colleen Park 1330 : 1030 Roy Harmer Richard Todd 360 : 6570 Mike Daw Dave Knight 3870 : 3330 Phil Osbourne Chase Newman 1430 : 2060 Sandy Harmer Kevin Stoner 2110 : 2530 Dave White Rick Bithell 2180 : 1410 Denis Cole
Lewes 4 : 3 Hastings
Well done Lewes. This was a close game with games 2 and 4 coming down to the last ball. Roy missed the 200 which would have tied the scores and phil needed the 200 with the red to win but unfortunately for us missed. The table seemed a bit unpredictable and just seemed to randomly drift right, then the next shot would be dead straight!!! Also the pockets were very ringy and looked like they needed a clean which accounted for many points for both sides being lost last night.
Overall a nice evening with the Lewes team and look forward to the return sometime next year.

Another tight match overall with our fourth 4:3 win of the interleague season our other win being a freak 7:0 win against mid sussex B. I'm sure mid sussex B will be looking for revenge this sunday at their place.

Well done lads, we are div 3 champions. We have had many close games that could have gone either way but we made it. Looking forward to div 2 next season. Hopefully we will fair better than Eastbourne.

Hi all Hastings Inter league Players,
well done in securing promotion to div 2 it is well deserved and with the players available to you, there is little chance of relegation next year. We regretfully never played to our potential throughout the season so deserve our final position. We hope to see you all in div 2 shortly, we have a young side and provided the wives and girlfriends continue to prefer us to be out most nights of the week we should get our confidence and BB heads back on
best regards cs Eastbourne BB league
