Hi Guys
Can anybody let me know how much the Ommeroo is charging for a 5 night stay over the competition week-end, arriving Thursday and leaving Tuesday, on a half board basis ( and B & B ) for a single room.
I have e/mailed them twice in the last 2 weeks, and as yet no reply.
Makes you wonder if they want the business or not.

Counting backwards like most of us now I guess ?! If she is still working there Emma Cooper -Jones was the best one to speak to regarding reservations. reservations@seabird.co.je Tel 01534 723493 Just too laid back these Jersey people. I shall refrain from being rude about them. Keep trying.

We have an active thread going on the "Tournaments" Board: Includes a link to the Jersey website where you can download entry forms.
Mine's off in the post tomorrow, hopefully this year I won't be down as "Claire". :-[ ;D

Superb local Channel Islands humour:
When the crapauds are not having a go at the donkeys they are busy winding each other up !

Just to add - after the event - it was good to see people from far flung places whom we see on all too rare occasions, such as Q from Cornwall; Johnny and Mark George (Cambs); and of course Pete from Rushden although he beat me. :P
And well done to the Guernsey contingent - two of the main world titles in as many years, one better than both Jersey and England. Never did get that game of chess with Ian Champion, though. :-/
