Dear All,
Sorry having Lap Top problems so can't log in.
World Championship pairs.
Some great games on the way with tables being played out all the way through, looks like we got the tables set up wrong!!!!!!!
Leon Beer and Phil Collins beat Steven and Keith Sheard in the final.
More to follow

What a fantastic World Championships once again, and many, many thanks to the organisers.
The standard of bar billiards in the World Pairs was exceptional, and to give you some idea, in one Semi-Final reigning Champs the two Kevins were forced to concede after 'Fasttrack' Phil Collins opened with 14k in leg one and Leon was able to get on and add another 3k in leg two.
In the other semi, Curt Driver and Mark Trafford came agonizingly close with Curt's opening leg 15k not enough :o as Steven Sheard matched it in leg two and father Keith was able to finish it off with a further quickfire 3k.
The Final was not for the faint-hearted, as Steven played out the first leg with a chanceless 15k. Step forward Fasttrack Phil who with remarkable composure exceeded this target with a spectacular 18k break. Bar billiards at its best !

Nice report Clive, but Steven missed on 15k in the final with 2 min's remaining. I still had time to lose a break of 400 chasing balls all over the table. :( May I say how proud I was of Steven as he was brilliant in every match in the Pairs, including another super opening break to KO Nigel S & Chris R in the Q/Finals. I'm glad that he wanted to take all the breaks in every match as he didn't let me down. ;D
