Mystery explained as to Mama Hall's new psyche............ 8-)
My own mum can drink anyone under the table. Margo took her on once and they polished off a bottle of vodka. My mum was still standing, and sober as a judge (turns 90 next year). Margo on the other hand was violently sick on the way home, against the Cherry Tree pub sign. :o :o

Congratulations to Jim for winning this for the 4th time.....tremendous achievement to do that. 8-) Hard luck to Graeme on losing in the final but still set Jim a stiff task, but not quite enough. Great though to see him back to full fitness again.
I’m really chuffed to win the World Pairs title with Steven, it was tough afterwards for me to hold back the tears, especially after Mark T told me before the final leg that I would be the 1st player to hold the “British” & “World” titles at the same time if I won it....Cheers Mark!!
Unlucky to Curt & Mark who lost in the final to us but can still take satisfaction about winning the “Group of Death”.
Well done to Steven on winning the plate and making an impressive 16,000 + brk in the final against James Jeanne, also beating Phil Collins with a 9,000 opener in an earlier round. James must be sick of losing to us two, as he’s lost to me once and Steven five or six times in the past, but I’m sure that one day it will be his turn to win, as he’s turned in to a great player.
Great time had by us all in what was yet another two excellently run World Championship tournaments.
Keith. ;)

Profile signature. (James Jeanne, 4 times under 25's champion, Youngest ever Jersey number 1 in rankings. Highest break 23660. Master's Champion 2006. Mixed Pairs Champions with Sami Baden 2007/2008)
Sorry James, I did you a misjustice before your break game in the final, as I told people who didn't think you could catch Stevens score, that your highest score was 22,000!!

Just like to add my congrats to 4 times champ (see he managed to change the profile all by himself!) Jim on here....some truly fantastic shots were played by him in the final, I wondered if he left the balls there on purpose at times so he could show us all the shots from his vast repertoire......
Well done to Steven as well for winning the plate. A great weekend as usual in Jersey, thanks to all the organisers for all their hard work

I would like to add a special congratulations to young Jaz Mariner - not only does she share her parents good looks, she can play too !
Reaching the final on her first time of entering was truly awesome - seeing off two young lads on the way (all two leg games), Jaz played very calmly and really well.
It was a great weekend and looking forward to next year.
Well done to all winners, runners up etc
(apparently the drink is called coffee & cream but I think we all prefer Lorraine's 'baby guinness' !!) ;D :P

Trevor Galliene knocked in 23K in his game againt Chris Newson :o Total in 2 legs, Ian!! I think it was more like 29k that Trevor scored over the 2 legs..... 11k in the first then an 18k+ table run out in the second leg. 8-)

It's Jerseys Wayne Poingdestre, who beat KT in 1987.
