Well done to Trevor on the win, he was simply awesome all weekend.
Great tournament as always, thanks to Graeme Le Monnier, Sean Le Bauvant and helpers for organising a terrific weekend.

ditto to what nigel said.
i think the ommaroo do a fantastic job as hosts as well. food ( breakfast, snack menu and meal of the day etc) were all spot on I allways thought the only thing missing from jersey was the entertainment (like in bournemouth) now jersey has better...loved it

Okay, here's a bit more (last 16 onwards) to whet the appetite until the organisers put up the full transcript of the competition.
Round Five Gary Powell (Sur) bt Gareth Lloyd (Sus) Fred Jeanne (J) lost to Mark Brewster (Kent) Kevin Hall (Sus) bt Graeme Marret (J) Dave Jones (Sur) lost to Jim Millward (Sus) Mick Eouzan (J) lost to Sue Mariner (Sus) Mark James (Sus) lost to Alan Le Blond (J) Dennis Helleur (J) bt Keith Sheard (Oxon) Mike Matthews (J) lost to Trevor Galliene (Gu) So at this stage the last Oxon man went out along with four of the six Jerseymen left in.
Quarter-finals Gary Powell (Sur) bt Mark Brewster (Kent) Kevin Hall (Sus) lost to Jim Millward (Sus) Sue Mariner (Sus) lost to Alan Le Blond (J) Dennis Helleur (J) lost to Trevor Gallienne (Gu)
Semi-finals Powell lost to Millward Le Blond lost to Gallienne
Final Gallienne bt Millward.
Well done to Guernsey for having spawned a worthy World Champion on the 'rival' Channel Island. Well done to Jim who though fighting a lost cause once Gallienne had touched up in the second game, still provided the spectators with some entertainment in the form of playing out time with an exceptionally rapid break. Well done to Surrey's Gary Powell for making the Semi-Finals, a surprise to many but not to me. And more 'well dones' to Sue Mariner and the still-only-22 y.o. BB Reaper for making it to the last 8 stage.
Thanks once again Jersey for staging such a wonderful event.
