Hi Champs was nice to see you supporting our team tonight. :D Thanks for putting Beckys and Tels Open entries in so quickly. Should have waited to see if the cheques bounce though. ::) Hope your team enjoyed their half-term break. :-*

Hi Ian
Hope you don't mind, but I have modified your entry list to include where some players are from, as you had some missing.

Good evening everybodypeeps ;D for those who are planning to enter (and win) the 2010 Hamilton Trustees Guernsey Open 8-) this year, and who have not yet booked accommodation, there may be another option. ??? A few rooms have been booked at the venue 'Wayside' I understand. Also some are sticking with the Peninsula which is situated approx. 10 minutes away by car along the coast road. Champs has brilliantly arranged a deal at Houge du Pommier (inland) - 10 minutes walking distance. Double that for on the way home after a few beers. ::) However a chance meeting by me with the owners of The Cobo Bay Hotel, a couple of minutes away from the venue, has resulted in the news that the hotel is NOT full that weekend, as previously thought. This is an excellent hotel with a very good reputation. www.cobobayhotel.comNot cheap, but you pay for what you get obviously. ;) If there are enough people interested I may be able to negotiate a slight discount ? Doing this without referring to Champs so I hope this does not cause a problem. :-* Looking for a lot more entries so us Guernsey boys do not have it all our own way . ;D

Looking for a lot more entries so us Guernsey boys do not have it all our own way . ;D Judging by the list there's still at least another four more England players to enter, including the Captain!!.......unless they are only coming over for the International. ::) :o

Only four Jerseymen again, a bit pathetic IMHO. Especially as they are current holders of the International honours.
This would be an ideal opportunity to earn some extra Ranking Points, so if their players are slipping down the list they know who to blame. ;)

You'd think that crapauds would be good at island hopping. ;D Still two days left to enter, folks. It doesn't have to cost a fortune, a few extra of us are coming over by boat this time: last year the sea crossing was really smooth. The advantage of going to the C.I. at this time of year is that you can get a Saturday sailing (has to be Friday crossing in November). Also, Condor Ferries are offering a Monday afternoon sailing back to Poole this time as an alternative to the usual evening sailing back to Weymouth. I had to hunt around for the entry form link, but here is one for anybody tempted to enter at the last minute: www.guernseybarbilliards.org.uk/files/GsyOpen2010.pdf
