Week 2 results
Darren Ogier 0 1210 2400 Ian Champion 3 2270 4050
Terry Kenny 3 3810 6780 Tom Oliver 0 3190 630
Bob Le Moignan 2 1360 4960 Bob Chapple 1 5560 300
Andrew Rundle 2 4280 1620 Luke Oliver 1 1060 2050
Gary Naftel 2 930 2340 Darren Ogier 1 1810 1440
As you will a strange week. Champ Stuffing me 3-0 Then Playing Gary Naftel the new boy beats me 2-1. Mind you it was only by 20 points on aggregate.
First time we've played on the Houmet table. For those that remember it is no longer placed by the entrance. Now by the beer store. MKuch better place. A shame the table not quite running smoothly yet.
Tom Oliver continues to play like a duck out of water and like a duck in cricket has no points. Probably will not lose a winter league game this season though.
Bob Le Moignan Left the fontaine Smiling as he took 2 points off pre season favorite Bob Chapple. Young Luke Oliver was also happy with a point against the hotteset property in Guernsey Billiards Andrew Rundle.

Robert Chapple 2 5660 2530 Bob Chapple 1 1630 6340
Bob Le Moignan 3 1560 3190 Clare Abderson 0 670 1150
Janet Avery 0 580 1190 Darren Ogier 3 2400 3850
Keiran Ogier 0 150 610 Gary Naftel 3 750 1310
Geoff Ogier 1 3520 1500 Ian Champion 2 1330 6300
Tom Oliver 3 1560 3470 Coleen Ogier 0 330 200
Interesting to see the student beat the master when young robert beat his Dad 2-1. Very close too as Robert sank the last ball to win on aggregate.
Good to see Terry starting to get back ti his best. From All accounts though young Luke had a fine game and was a litle unlucky not to push Terry a bit more.
Mr Le Moignan struggled a little at times and seemed a bit nervous as his lady oposition steadily improves each week. Clare tried hard but was always likely to make a mistake and allow bob back in.
There was no way i was going to score big against janet she would of killed me. Let alone her moaning all the next day at work. Having said that Janet played very well and i had to make sure i was on the ball to get the win.
Gary Naftel who stepped in at the last minute to play in the league completes an ogier double after beating Darren last week he beats in brother Keiran 3-0. Keiran still new to the game though shows signs of improving.
Breakaway team mates met at home. Geoff taking the first game and putting the Champster under pressure. Ian though stood fim and came back well in the second.
Tom Oliver finally broke his duck by claimimng 3 points in his clash with Coleen. Tom didn't look that comfortable again though and is searchind for that normal MR steady. You watch he won't lose a game in the summer. Coleen still to master the game however always enjoys herself and without some rather spectacular misses the tuesday evenings would be far more boring.
Gentleman of the week goes to sir Tom Oliver for his kinf gesture of buying Coleen a drink even though he was the victor.
What a pleasure it was to see Tel and the Stormin make an appearance at the Ex Service to cheer on all those that needed.

Bob Le Moignan 3 2,190 1,950 v Janet Avery 0 730 0
We have a new league leader. Former world double champion Bob Le Moignan shows some Consistency and now leads the chasing back. From all accounts though he was lucky in the second game 100 behind and he puts the last ball in the 200 off the peg.
The Ice man (Andy Rundle) is now the only unbeaten player in the league after Robert Chapple 3 - 0 defeat to myself. Andy had a shock in his first game though when Gary beat him. As ever though the iceman remained cool.
Bob Chapple not his normal dominant self struggled with his match against Luke on the Rangers Table. He never looked like losing though as he was victorious in both game.
Bob Le Moignan played twice this week and easily dispatched Janet Avery 3 - 0. I am sure though that the flirting was high by both Dave (scorer) and Bob therefore putting Janet off her Game.
