This one from Orpington, Kent is in gorgeous condition (look at the shine on that wood !): www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150845698253I'm not even convinced that it's a narrow one. :-/ Anyone interested should ask the vendor to confirm (36" = basic, 34.5" = narrow). Went for £352 after 9 bids. Bargain !

Near Sidmouth, Devon for this one: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=271007218410Looks very modern, but perhaps a DIY 'sanding down' has been performed at some stage. Not sure about the 'felt being undamaged' claim. What are those marks at regular intervals leading up to the 200 hole ? No timer, otherwise appears sound. Auction closed: No takers for this one. No-one prepared to bid £300+. Expect this one to be relisted shortly, maybe with £250 starting bid to see if any interest. Otherwise will need to re-cloth first in order to shift it.

Owner admits that the slate has been repaired. There is a full length diagonal repair. The slate on these is full length and supported on all four sides. unlike many standard tables. For the slate to be damaged it must have had one hell of a whack. Not a recommended purchase!! Sav

Gives credence to the vendor's terminology:
carcass n 1. the dead body of an animal, with the head, limbs, and entrails removed 2. Informal, usually facetious or derogatory a person's body 3. the skeleton or framework of a structure 4. the remains of anything when its life or vitality is gone; shell ;D

Nice looking customised table out of somebody's conservatory in Yorkshire: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bar-Billiard-Table-/140867516759?The top has the four cue slots, so Padmores. The frame looks much newer. Pity only the one picture. Surprised at the lack of blinds in the person's conservatory (to protect against the 'greenhouse effect' in the heat of summer). :D This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.Hopefully a nice private offer made !

Table from Milton Keynes, privately owned for 30 years: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/bar-billiards-table-/200837924227?In spite of it being a 'Narrow' table I reckon it will make something near the Buy-it-now price, in view of the condition. Went for a reasonable £510 after 2 bids.

Narrow SAMS, looks brand new (although it isn't, wood has been rubbed down). Timer removed, so probably no bar mechanism either. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/bar-billiards-table-Sams-Model-/300841588334The Potblack.com van within view suggests it's from Mike Large, known to Sav. Went for £720 after 8 bids. Crazy money for a narrow bar billiards table without as I suspect a bar inside. :o

They've certainly done a wonderful job on the woodwork, wish I had the patience to get that sort of result. Backboard is missing and the pockets look as though they may be proud but difficult to tell. Should sell well. Sav

Another one with the wood in pristine condition, location Bradford-on-Avon, Wilts (near Bath): www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bar-Billiards-Table-6FT-Slate-Bed-Working-Coin-OP-/190790965455Slight mystery on how the cloth became frayed around the pockets at the back end: can't have been used for 4-Pin in which the balls go 'up and back'. So what game has been played on it ? Whatever the answer, a re-cloth will be adviseable. Went for £411 after 9 bids.

Narrow SAMs from Kings Langley, Herts (nr Hemel Hempstead): www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BAR-BILLIARD-TABLE-/281063359488Nice wood. Minus points: 1) no evidence of a timing mechanism 2) nasty rip in cloth - "yeah, I glued it back together !" :o 3) so, when said accident occurred, did the slate underneath escape unscathed ? :-/ Caveat emptor on this one. Went for £415-99 after 6 bids.
