My monastic vow of silence seems to been lifted so I will add a little more to Bobs report.
Bob:6780 Dave:3730 Dave did indeed play really well, building up a 3k lead with good play. Bob got them back to paly it out for 6k. Rotter. ;)
Derek:4050 Andy:2220 Andy only retrieved the break in the last two minutes and couldn't catch up.
Jenny:2810 Carole:50 Jenny played a good solid game here.
Pete:4580 Spud:3750 Ah, if only eh?.. I fought back from 3k5 down but lost what would have been a clinching 1k2 break. Well played to Pete.
Ted:6060 Lynne:2080 Really good game from ted who put on a very early 3k5 break and then kept returning the balls for more. Lynne fought back well near the end.
Another pummeling for the team alas. I am absolute rubbish in picking the draws it has to be said! Never mind, very well played to the legion, and we thouroughly enjoyed the evening it has to be said.
Cheers all

Unfortunately, the Results Secretary has found that the Bridge played an ineligible player in their match against the Star Eastbourne and have been deducted 1 point for breach of rules with the match (and game in question) also being awarded to their opponents. :'(
Revised table now shown below...
Pos Team Played Won Draw Lost For Against Points
1 Laughing Fish 7 6 0 1 23 12 23 2 Bridge 7 6 0 1 23 12 22 3 CKRBL 7 4 0 3 21 14 21 4 Star Eastbourne 7 5 0 2 20 15 20 5 Plough Plumpton 7 3 0 4 20 15 20 6 Black Horse 7 2 0 5 15 20 15 7 Brewers Arms 7 2 0 5 10 25 10 8 Cock Inn 7 0 0 7 8 27 8
The Bridge have the right to appeal against the decision to the Committee should they wish to do so. ;)

the only player i can see was in breach would be chunky monkey but he told me he was playing for the bridge team since the start of the season as darren from the plough had asked to sign him i hope they get the point put back after they appeal

Seems as though this is a misunderstanding and one hopes within a friendly league the committee will take a simpathetic rule, would seem a shame if league was decided on an oversight.

Glad the points have been given back 8-) Perhaps someone could get Lewes website amended. my average for the league should read Played 1 Won 1 Lost 0 and an average of 8600 not 4540 ;)
